The Barleylands Food Festival features a top line up of celebrity chefs, including:
Phil Vickery (Saturday) – Coeliac UK ambassador and one of our most popular chefs
Stacie Stewart (Saturday)- Stacie is a TV presenter, Masterchef finalist, bespoke baker, author, columnist and DJ
Daniel Clifford (Saturday) – Daniel’s menu and style of food focuses on the most seasonal produce and his dishes are developed to make the taste as natural as possible.
Levi Roots (Sunday) – best known for his Dragon’s Den appearance and Reggae Reggae sauce, Levi is pure entertainment
Ed Kimber (Sunday) – Bespoke Baker and author – Ed will be demonstrating some baked delights
The Craft Beer Boys (Sunday) – Brad and Jonny are founders of the Craft Beer Channel, a Youtube channel with a huge global following dedicated to great beer and good food.
As well as our main stage at Barleylands Food Festival, where our celebrity chefs will be demonstrating throughout the day, hosted by the inimitable Mark Lloyd, we also have
the Food Roadshow stage, where we have a further line-up of chefs for you to watch and learn from.
We also have live music at the Barleylands Food Festival, from a number of local bands and artists, again playing throughout the day for your enjoyment on the designated music stage. This is situated in the middle of our Piazza area, where you can relax, buy food from around the world, or from local producers around the corner, and maybe try some of the real ales from our Real Ale Marquee, where we have a large variety from local breweries in the Essex area.
You may want to take advantage of our unique Fruit De Mer restaurant, where you can enjoy a huge and delicious seafood platter, fresh from the sea.
There is family entertainment, with workshops for all ages, the infamous Bushtucker Challenge, and for the young (and the young and heart) we also have the ever popular Pinxton Puppets, as well as fairground rides.
The huge food halls are just a part of our food festival – but it’s always good to go home with something, and with a try before you taste policy on a lot of the stands, you are sure to enjoy the shopping experience!
