Galton Blackiston (Saturday only)
Galton has held a Michelin star for 14 years and become UK Craft Guild of Chefs ‘Chef of the year’, East Anglian Chef of the Year and fellow of the craft guild of chefs.
Galton has appeared on Anglia Television, Gary Rhodes Food Heros, Market Kitchen, Great British Menu and is a regular on Saturday Kitchen with James Martin (BBC) where he’s always promoting seasonal and Norfolk produce. Galton will always tell people that there is “No finer area” than Norfolk.
Tom Kerridge (Saturday only)
Originally from the West Country, his early career started in country house hotels and restaurants in Gloucestershire. He moved to London in his early twenties, where he worked with well-known chefs such as Phillip Britton, Steven Bull and Gary Rhodes. Leaving London, he moved to Norwich where he was Head Chef at the one Michelin starred Adlards.
Tom and his wife, Beth, set up The Hand and Flowers in 2005 and they were awarded one star in the Michelin Guide in 2006. Since 2012, the pub has held two stars in the guide.
In 2013, Tom published his first book, Proper Pub Food, with a BBC television series. In 2014, Best Ever Dishes, was released with a second BBC series. Tom’s third book, Tom’s Table, was released in 2015. A fourth book, The Dopamine Diet is due out January 2017.
Jean-Christophe Novelli is a 5 out of 5, AA Rosette and multi Michelin Star award winning chef who has also been dubbed “The Nation’s Favourite French Chef”, European Chef of Year finalist representing Great Britain, recipient of the prestigious Egon Ronay Dessert of the Year award and privileged recipient of an Honorary Doctorate from Bedford University. His Novelli Academy has been voted one of the Top Cooking Academies in the World, which he still owns and performs his own demonstrations. Jean-Christophe has made ‘countless’ appearances on both British and US TV.
Sabrina Ghayour (Sunday only)
Named as one of the ‘Rising Stars of 2014’ by The Observer newspaper, Sabrina Ghayour is a self-taught cook and food writer who hosts the hugely popular ‘Sabrina’s Kitchen’ supper club in various venues across London, renowned for Persian and Middle Eastern flavourful dishes.
Sunday Times’ Gizzi Erskine says “Sabrina Ghayour is a phenomenal Persian Chef” and Chef Raymond Blanc OBE says “Sabrina delivers Eastern promise in its delicious gastronomic form”. The Observer names Sabrina as “The Golden Girl of Persian Cookery”.
The Craft Beer Boys (both days)
Completing our line up of chefs at Sandringham Food Festival, Brad and Jonny are founders of the Craft Beer Channel, a youtube channel with a huge global following dedicated to great beer and good food. They travel the world finding the world’s best brews and the secrets behind them, then finding food matches or even cooking with them. They met while working in Jamie Oliver’s digital team and bonded over their love of beer and burgers, and have been drinking buddies ever since. They are now two of the country’s foremost experts in beer, travelling the world to make films, speak at conferences and try to project an air of sobriety against all the odds.
